7th February – Susan Grossey

Susan Grossey

Susan Grossey is a local author of a series of historical financial crime stories, set in London in the 1820s. The books are narrated by Sam Plank, a magistrates’ constable.

Susan will be speaking to us about her journey into becoming a writer, her self-publishing success story, and her Sam Plank Mystery series.

If you’re keen on crime fiction with a difference – it’s not filled with blood and gore, although there are deaths and London in the 1820s was a pretty filthy, stinky, unhealthy place – and you enjoy immersing yourself in another time and place, Sam Plank may be the Regency detective series that is just right for you.
