I really enjoyed the way it moved between the five central characters and the way their lives were intertwined so effortlessly. They were all so different \u2013 from twenties to retirement age \u2013 and, of course, each was locked in their own lives, loves &amp; worries. Although Gould is a member of the Romantic Novelists Association, his approach will upset many traditional romance fans as it is by no means about Happy Ever After, but his look at modern life and modern relationships has much to offer and is ultimately life-affirming.
